Moms. We give our all

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Our love. Our sleep. Our bodies. Our schedules. We are selfless. We are exhausted. But we are blessed.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We laugh. We cry. Scream.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Wonder if we are doing enough. Are we a good mom? Wonder what others think of us. Wonder why our bodies didn’t bounce back like that other mom. Wonder if our husband still looks at us the same. Wonder what the cashier at the grocery store thinks as we are football holding our toddlers in order to cash out and just get them back in the car.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We are the chefs. The educators. The chauffeur. The schedule planners. The house maids. The party planners. The Tooth Fairy. Santa.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Are we exercising enough. Are we getting our self care in that everyone screams at us. Are we feeding our families the healthiest meals. Are we actually eating.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

DON’T be so busy on mom autopilot trying to do all the things you think you need to do to keep up with societies perfect picture of the perfect mother. Society sucks at parenting and there is no such thing as a perfect mom.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

These babies are going to grow up whether you are present for the moments or not. So choose your time wisely.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I choose my children over a perfectly clean house. I choose my children over being judged for grabbing fast food on the way to the park so they can have more time to play. I choose my couch with Netflix and ice cream when the children are in bed, over a night out.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I choose myself. I choose my children. Over any judgement from anyone.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Stop comparing. Stop worrying. Do what’s best for you and your children. YOU got this.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I know you don’t feel enough. But you are.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Check on your mom friends. Be the mom that inspires and encourages. Not judges.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Happy Mothers Day to all you amazing mamas!!!!
